An Air Force Academy cadet was arrested by Boulder police Friday on suspicion of sexual assault and kidnapping tied to a Nov. 1 incident.
The Air Force Academy confirmed Monday that a cadet had been arrested. Boulder County jail records identify him as 21-year-old Daniel Ryerson, an Academy junior.
Details on the incident that led to Ryerson’s arrest were not immediately available.
An academy spokesman who confirmed the cadet arrest said the school is cooperating with Boulder officials.
“Federal law does allow the city of Boulder to retain jurisdiction in this matter,” academy spokesman John Van Winkle said.
