1 Deputy responds to sisterly dispute. On Jan. 7, a Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a complaint about a noisy argument in the 7400 block of South Quail Circle in the Littleton area. The deputy contacted one of two sisters there who eventually admitted to an argument. One of the sisters was intoxicated.
2 Unresponsive male arrested. Two deputies responded to a home in the 5800 block of West Alder Avenue, Columbine (Littleton), after a report of a disturbance on Jan. 8. The deputies found an unresponsive man lying on the floor there, with alcohol and marijuana all around, and contacted a woman locked in a room who said they had been arguing and the man tried to kick down the door. The man was arrested.
3 Pain meds at issue. On Jan. 5, a deputy went to the 8000 block of South Trinchera Peak, Ken-Caryl, after a father said he suspected his daughter was diverting some of his pain medication for her own use. The daughter said the father had problems with pain medication and she was told to give him only enough for the day. The incident was logged as suspicious.
4 Man, woman get in each other’s face. On Jan. 5, a deputy investigated a disturbance in the 6800 block of South Holland Way in the Littleton area. He found an intoxicated and uncooperative man there who accused the woman inside of hitting him. The woman said she was angry because the house was a mess. She said the man got in her face and she pushed him away. The man then accused the woman of breaking a bottle over his head. The officer didn’t believe him and the incident was closed.
