Stevie Wonder has been playing his classic album “Songs in the Key of Life” on his latest tour, which makes the legendary performer’s recently added dates great news for Denver fans. The critically acclaimed tour will visit the Pepsi Center on March 17, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 23. ($39.50- $149.50, )
Denver’s the Fray is slated to join Train and Matt Nathanson for the 42-date “Picasso at the Wheel” summer tour, named after Train’s 2014 album “Bulletproof Picasso.” The pop-rock acts will play Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village on July 18, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 24. In case you missed it, pop-country superstar Garth Brooks put an additional five shows on sale last week after the initial announcement of his March 20-21 sets at the Pepsi Center. All are sold out as of press time — minus the 7:30 p.m. shows March 18-19, and the 10:30 p.m. show on March 20. Tickets are on sale. ($57, )
Also at the Pepsi Center: Mötley Crüe’s two-year “farewell” tour continues as the last leg limps back to the Can on July 31, with Alice Cooper. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 23. ($20-$149.50, )
The odd touring bedfellows of aging mall-punks Fall Out Boy and hip-hop’s Wiz Khalifa will co-headline Fiddler’s Green on July 29 as part of the “Boys of Summer” tour, with Hoodie Allen and DJ Drama. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 23. ($25-$75, )
Red Rocks Amphitheatre’s summer calendar got a huge bump this week with a number of shows, including: Soja and Nas (April 18, $45), Mastodon and Clutch (May 3, $29.95-$35), the Moody Blues (May 10, $44.50-$69.50), the Decemberists and Spoon (May 27, $39.95-$55), Trampled by Turtles with Elephant Revival and Shakey Graves (Aug. 29, $40-$50) and the Disco Biscuits with Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Break Science (April 17, $44.75-$142.75; on sale Jan. 24).
