The Devil Makes Three — Jan. 24, Fillmore Auditorium
If you’ve ever been to Santa Cruz, Calif. — hometown of — you’d know that it’s kind of like a Boulder by the ocean. And like our very own Boulder here in Colorado, it has a knack for producing everything from jam to electronic and Americana musicians. Santa Cruz’s the Devil Makes Three sits on the Americana side of that spectrum, and has had a pretty successful couple of years. The band has appeared on major festival lineups, toured with Willie Nelson, and released its most commercially successful album to date, “I’m a Stranger Here.” After all the success, the band is playing the 3,700-capacity Fillmore Auditorium on Jan. 24. Joe Pug is opening the show.

And since then, has built on that sound, becoming one of Denver’s most promising hard rock acts. On Jan. 24, Wiredogs celebrates the release of its album, “Kill”ˆThe Artist Hype The Trash,” at the Marquis Theatre.
