How do effective Colorado managers become successful leaders?

They do it through the powerful combination of management theory and practice that professionals learn in Olin’s Executive MBA (EMBA) program.

Olin Business School – part of internationally recognized Washington University in St. Louis – brought its EMBA program to the “Mile-High City” in September of 2013.

Ranked No. 12 by “U.S. News & World Report,” the program is taught by some of the best minds in business. Olin professors bring their research models and methods into the classroom, providing real-time strategies students can apply to their organizations’ business challenges. As a result, the program creates immediate value, especially in a competitive market like Denver’s.

First-year courses build cross-functional knowledge. Second-year courses focus on important business themes: innovation and creativity, growth and sustainability, and global and emerging markets. Students also participate in a residency in Shanghai, where they meet with senior-level representatives from multinational corporations and tour high-performing companies.

“Olin prepared me for the next step in my career by making me a more effective leader,” says Casey Dugan, director of pharmacy services for Children’s Hospital Colorado and a 2012 graduate. “Now, I have a stronger skill set and a better understanding of organizational behavior and change management.”

Classes for Olin’s 20-month Denver EMBA program are held at RubinBrown’s offices at 1900 16th Street Mall #300, Denver, CO 80202. For more information, contact mshuff@wustl.edu, or visit embaolin.com.
