Cold comfort as it is, there were any number of Denver Broncos fans here in the Mile High City that had to smirk Sunday when the defending champions — the freakin’ Seattle Seahawks who broke our hearts last year — by the New England Patriots.
The fact that it happened on one of the most inexplicably bonebrained play calls in Super Bowl history made it all the more pleasant here at .
