Late on Monday, one day after Loveland police discovered the body of a woman who had been shot to death, Boulder County sheriff’s deputies found her car — with another dead body inside.
, 36, of Loveland was found early Sunday in a home on the 3600 block of Butternut Drive. Officials have a homicide.
While conducting their investigation into her murder, the department was contacted by the Boulder County sheriff. Inside a car that was registered to Howard, deputies found the body of Russell Steven Woolman, 52, also of Loveland.
Officials said Woolman’s last known address was the same as Howard’s. The Boulder County coroner’s office said Tuesday that Woolman had no traumatic injuries. An autopsy is scheduled to determine his cause of death.
Loveland police said further investigation in Woolman’s death led to the discovery of a gun inside the car where he was found. The office said both deaths are still being investigated.
