Before he left for Florida after just three seasons at Colorado State, Jim McIlwain was making a strong case as the best college coach in Colorado since the heyday of Bill McCartney, Sonny Lubick and Fisher DeBerry.
Only five players from Colorado colleges where among the and all five played at Colorado State. The combine starts Tuesday, Feb. 17 in Indianapolis. The best pro prospect is CSU offensive tackle Ty Sambrailo, who has a chance to go in the first round.

Also invited was Wyoming linebacker Mark Nzeocha. Not invited was Northern Colorado linebacker Max Flores, who declared himself for the draft even though he had more year of eligibility after sitting out his senior season last year.
