An anonymous reader sent in this photo. Any Denver driver will know why.
I am not the sort of person who would wish a disabled vehicle on anyone. Or so I thought. Turns out there is at least one exception, and I suspect you might agree.
An anonymous reader — actually, a good friend of mine who is an attorney and will remain unnamed — emailed me this photo yesterday. He snapped it at the corner of East 14th Avenue and Monroe Street.
As you can see, it was an out-of-commission police radar van that had to be transported into the shop. I am neither scofflaw or speed demon, but I have received enough photo-radar tickets for going just a wee bit over the speed limit that I had to grin at this photo.
I mean, if you’re going to snap my photo and mail me a form letter fining me $25 — or whatever the going rate is now — can you at least keep my chins to a minimum? Just saying.
