A unsatisfied Wendy’s customer in Colorado Springs is accused of turning what he thought was a bad meal into a robbery on Sunday night, police say.

The robbery happened at about 6 p.m. at the restaurant’s branch on the 1500 block of South Nevada Avenue.

“The male suspect threw two Wendy’s bags at the employees, challenged them and demanded his money back,” police said. “As the manager was in the process of refunding the suspect his money back, the suspect reached over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money out of the register.”

The suspect then fled in a gray Kia Sorrento driven by a female suspect, police said.

“Neither suspect was contacted,” police said.

The Wendy’s bandits remain at-large.
