As the Rapids get closer to the start of the 2015 season, they are still hopeful of bringing in a player or two on loan from Arsenal, the English Premier League side also owned by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.

“We’ve been talking with Arsenal quite a bit,” said Paul Bravo, Rapids’ vice president of soccer operations and technical director. “There’s a few players that we’ve been monitoring. Rapids coach Pablo Mastroeni had originally planned to visit Arsenal over the winter, but instead and Fulham, where the Rapids were .

The Rapids did land one person from Arsenal this offseason, new . He spent 13 years as managing editor for the Arsenal Media Group.
