After a successful 2014 that saw a and sold out shows across the country, the Shakey Graves and Esme Patterson duo will carry its success into the new year. has announced that Denver’s Patterson will join Shakey Graves as the musical guest on the Late Show with David Letterman on Feb. 13.

Patterson and Shakey Graves’ Alejandro Rose-Garcia will likely perform their hit song, “Dearly Departed” on the late night program. In October of last year, Patterson stood beside Rose-Garcia

“Clapping and cooing, Rose-Garcia and Patterson gave a delightful and relaxed performance. Backed by a drummer and a lap steel guitar player, the group built it up to a country screamer,”

This performance came a few months after Patterson

Before Shakey Graves’ three sold out shows in Denver last year, about writing the hit song with Patterson.

“We just wrote it and brought sheets of music on stage and were wearing ridiculous costumes, and people just went crazy,” of the “Dearly Departed” debut at the Boulder Theater. “It was probably one of the craziest reactions to a song I’ve had ever.”
