“There were calls made to the Nuggets about Ty Lawson,” Denver Post Nuggets writer Christopher Dempsey told The Sports Show on Thursday. “The Nuggets were not even near close to trading him. They became more open to trading him as these episodes continued to happen. And certainly after the missed plane, they were scratching their heads as to what was going on. … Their intention was never to trade Ty Lawson.”
