Ryley Stewart, a senior at Class 5A Highlands Ranch, has been selected for the American Family Insurance “Fearless Dreamer” contest. It’s an online voting program that determines the final roster spots for the American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships.
Each week for four weeks, contestants will compete in a bracket-style knockout competition. Half the field will advance to the next round each week and winners are wholly determined by fan voting at HighSchoolSlam.com.
The dates for each round of voting:
• Opening Round: February 18-25
• Quarterfinals: February 25 – March 4
• Semifinals: March 4-11
• Finals: March 11-18
Voting for round one is open until February 25 at 11 a.m. Mountain Time. The winners will be announced Wednesday, March 18, and travel to Indianapolis to compete in the championships airing April 5 at 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time on CBS.
Stewart is one of 16 contestants in the 3-point contest.
