A boy was killed in a side-by-side utility task vehicle crash Sunday afternoon near Laporte.
Larimer County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single vehicle accident near the intersection of West County Road 54g and Pueblo Drive around 4 p.m., said a Larimer County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Responders found the boy, a passenger in the recreational vehicle, dead from injuries sustained in the accident, the release said.
The release said the driver of the UTV, also a juvenile male, was uninjured.
The incident remains under investigation, but alcohol and drugs do not appear to be involved, the release said.
