WATCH:

Police in Aurora are investigating the killing of a 55-year-old man who was apparently stabbed to death early Tuesday in a home.

Officers found the man at a quadplex — a building holding four apartments or condominium units — at about 2:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Lima Street just off Colfax Avenue.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his identity.

Police said they are in the process of interviewing several witnesses and “people involved.”

“The information I can give is that we are not looking for a suspect at this time,” said Officer Diana Cooley, a department spokeswoman.

Cooley said she could not comment on whether or not a suspect or suspects were in custody.

“They are still interviewing people who are involved,” Cooley said of the investigators at the scene.

Photos from the scene showed the quadplex surrounded by yellow police tape, investigators milling around and inside the building.

In September, police say a on the same block.
