1 Clinic registration enrages man. On Feb. 16, a man was arrested for causing a disturbance and assaulting a man at Lowry Family Health Clinic, 1001 Yosemite St. Denver police learned that the suspect was filling out a registration form when he became agitated and began cursing at staff. He then hit an employee with his shoulder .
2 Suspect cited for brass knuckles. An off-duty Denver police officer cited a man Feb. 17 and confiscated some brass knuckles after he was displaying them at the Colfax and Auraria Light Rail Station, 1101 W. Colfax Ave. The officer was working for RTD and noticed the suspect punching a metal rail.
3 Casual greeting turns into fight. On Feb. 13, Denver police arrested a man after he assaulted another man in a lobby in the 4800 block of West Colfax Avenue. The victim told police he approached the suspect and asked how he was doing. The suspect became angry and asked why he was talking trash. The suspect punched the man.
4 Roommate rudely awakened by punch. A man was arrested Feb. 13 after he screamed at his sleeping roommate, waking him. He also punched, headbutted and threatened to kill the roommate and the roommate’s mother. Denver police responded to the 400 block of Irving Street and arrested the suspect.
5 Victim gets bike back. On Feb. 11, Denver police responded to an attempted robbery in the 3700 block of Dexter Court. Police learned that the suspect went into the victim’s open garage and took a bike. The victim confronted the suspect and the suspect dropped the bike.
