Tonight: There are more than a few good reasons to tune in to Rocky Mountain PBS tonight for “La Dolce Vita: The Music of Italian Cinema.” The “Great Performances” episode has three likable stars in pop singer Josh Groban, soprano Renée Fleming and versatile musician Joshua Bell, all paying tribute to movie music from Italy’s golden age of cinema. Composers include Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone and others who penned 20th-century classics for such directors as Frederico Fellini, Franco Zeffirelli and Sergio Leone, and films as diverse as “Once Upon a Time in the West” and “Life is Beautiful.” Need another reason? How about the house musicians from the New York Philharmonic, with Alan Gilbert conducting. The 90-minute show airs at 9 p.m. tonight on RMPBS (KRMA-Channel 6). No cable required.
