Boulder police are investigating a robbery which occurred Tuesday afternoon at a FirstBank located at 2835 Pearl St.

Witnesses told police that an older, white male walked into the bank lobby at about 1:35 p.m. and waited in line for a teller. When he reached the teller, he passed her a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect left the bank through the west doors. He was last seen walking west from the bank, in the parking lot between FirstBank and Turley’s restaurant.

Officials said no weapon was displayed and no one was injured.

Police are looking for the suspect, who is described as a white male, 50- to 70-years-old. He is between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall, and weighs about 150 pounds. Officials said he has no facial hair and was missing his upper right teeth.

He also was wearing glasses which had a small manufacturer’s sticker on the upper left corner of the left lens, along with a light green jacket, black snow gloves, snow boots and possibly blue jeans.

Officials said the man was also wearing a red knit snow hat and carrying a black backpack, with a red “allergy alert” tag attached to it.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact Det. Heather Frey at 303-441-3369. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-444-3776.
