If you’re eager to flash your best “Live Long and Prosper” sign in the wake of last week at the age of 83, now’s your chance.
The Sidewinder Tavern on Wednesday (March 4) is holding a in honor of the late actor who played our favorite Vulcan, where fans of Nimoy and his iconic Mr. Spock can commiserate over their loss. The event takes place 7-11 p.m.
Hosted by the Denver County Fair’s Geek Pavilion and StarFest, the wake will include drinks like the Vulcan Mind Meld and Romulan Ale, four hours of Spock videos, Spock Cake and, in honor of in which Spock is played out of the Enterprise, bagpipes performing “Amazing Grace.”

“Leonard Nimoy wasn’t just any ’60s genre actor who fell into obscurity,” creative manager Steve Bessette said in a press release. “He was a wonderful actor, filmmaker, speaker and lover of the arts. His stamp in cinema deserves to be hailed and recognized.”
