, the popular restaurant and cocktail lounge at 2030 W. 30th Ave., just landed a nice little bit of recognition: Nightclub and Bar magazine just named it “Restaurant Bar of the Year.”

The restaurant is part of the Edible Beats group, headed by chef-owner Justin Cucci. Other Edible Beats holdings include Root Down and Ophelia’s.

For Mike Henderson, Edible Beats’ bar director, it was big news.

“I’m honored and humbled to see among such great company with this year’s nominees and winners,” he said. “Everyone on the Linger bar team has been working hard over the last few years to build a well-balanced bar program for our guests.

“I’m flattered that not just Linger, but a restaurant in Denver, was part of the conversation for the award.”

We’ll raise a glass to that.
