CBS newsmagazine “48 Hours” recounts the grisly tale of the murder of Aspen socialite Nancy Pfister on this weekend’s edition. “48 Hours” airs Saturday at 9 p.m. on CBS4.
“Murder in Aspen” is a retelling of the which drew national attention in 2014. The Pfister family was well known in Aspen, Nancy as a socialite, her father as a co-founder of Buttermilk Ski Area, her mother as a member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) in World War II.
“48 Hours” correspondent Maureen Maher pieces together the murder and the investigation through interviews with Pfister’s daughter, Nancy Styler, Kathy Carpenter, prosecutors, investigators and defense attorneys.
