Three people arrested in connection with the have been released, police said Monday.

Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said there was not enough evidence to hold the suspects in connection with the shooting. Jackson did not identify those arrested.

Police initially said four people were arrested in connection with the shooting before revising that number to three on Monday.

The shooting happened near the intersection of 31st Avenue and Marion Street overnight Tuesday. Police announced the shooting at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on Twitter.

No one was injured in the shooting though authorities confirmed the police vehicle was struck by at least one bullet.

Jackson said an investigation into the incident remains “active.”
