Denver police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly groped a woman Monday in the area of East 25th Avenue and Race Street.
Officials said Tuesday the incident occurred at about 6:50 p.m. as the woman was approached by the man from behind and then touched. The suspect ran away after being confronted and was last seen in the 2700 block of Race Street.
The suspect is described as an 18- to 24-year-old, approximately 5-foot-8 and 140 to 150 pounds. He has short, dark hair, dark eyes with circles underneath them and thick, dark eyebrows. He was wearing a light gray hoodie with a black or gray shirt underneath, blue jeans and black and white basketball shoes.
