1 Man challenges police. An enraged man attacked a female friend then challenged police to a fight, saying he would “kill them all” Feb. 22 in the 7300 block of West 84th Way, Arvada. Officers responded by subduing him with a Taser and arresting him on four charges.
2 Man frightens Subway customers. Employees of Subway, 12304 W. 64th Ave., Arvada, called police Feb. 22 after seeing a man pacing, talking to himself and bothering customers. Officers stopped the man as he exited the women’s restroom and found an aluminum can with smoldering marijuana in his pocket.
3 Drunk girlfriend attacks. A woman kicked out of a Westminster bar arrived home in the 6000 block of Winona Court in Arvada on Feb. 22 and began screaming at her boyfriend then smashed his door with an iron gate when he tried to hide. He called police, who arrested her for drinking in violation of a protection order.
4 Shoplifters flee scene of crime. A shoplifting duo fled King Soopers, 8055 Sheridan Blvd., Arvada, on Feb. 19 after a security guard caught them attempting to steal $52.58 in hair products.
5 Restraining order means nothing to ex-wife. Arvada police issued an arrest warrant Feb. 24 in the 5900 block of Urban Street for a woman who violated a protection order by bombarding her ex-husband with text messages and phone calls.
6 Woman pops pills, fights. A woman was arrested Feb. 25 after she stole prescription pain medication and got in a fight with her girlfriend in the 5800 block of Pierce St., Arvada.
