Interview with Johnna Holcomb, manager/bookkeeper
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: Mom’s pho is so good, we knew we needed to share it with the rest of Colorado.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: We have a few things that differentiate us from other pho restaurants, such as a bright, clean atmosphere, and excellent customer service. We feel Pho Real goes above and beyond to provide our guests with what they want, at a reasonable time and price, right in the heart of Littleton.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: The food. To have fresh vegetables and delicious local meats cooking in warm broth on the stove at all times is the best part.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: I would say our biggest challenge is finding bilingual employees. While having Vietnamese employees shines an authentic light on pho, it can be difficult when ordering with someone who doesn’t also know English.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: We are pretty much all family. Everyone here is pretty much related, and everyone here cares and loves each other like we are family. We often laugh and joke and have big family meals in the restaurant when we have down time.
