
1Parent exhibits bully behavior. The principal of Shelton Elementary, 420 Crawford St., Golden, reported March 5 that a parent came to the school to discuss her child, who was accused of bullying. The parent yelled at the principal and threatened legal action. The parent then allegedly went to the home of the child her child was accused of bullying and confronted that child’s parents. No charges were filed.
2Neighborly affair. Jeffco Sheriff’s deputies went to the 2900 block of Sugar Pine Trail, Evergreen, on March 3, where a husband and wife said they have had problems with a neighbor ever since the wife revealed she had an affair with him. The neighbor believed threatening text messages sent to the husband were from his relatives. He said he would ask them to stop.
3Restaurant door damaged. A manager of A Tavola, 28215 Colorado 74, Evergreen, discovered March 6 the outer pane of the restaurant’s glass door was shattered. The inner pane was intact. There were no suspects.
4Wife accuses ex-husband of assault, theft. Golden police reported to Jefferson County Courts, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, on March 2, where a woman said she was asleep in her car when her ex-husband attacked her, then stole her wallet. The ex-husband was contacted and said his ex-wife is a liar. Her claims could not be substantiated.
5Graffiti leaves warning. A man reported purple graffiti that said “I’m warning you Don” and a circled “A” on the side of a building in the 400 block of Golden Circle, Golden. He suspected a tenant with whom he has ongoing issues.
