One person died, and another was hospitalized, after a vehicle slammed into a tree in the 3800 block of South Mission Parkway early Sunday, Aurora police said.
The accident happened shortly before 5 a.m.
The late-model Scion was travelling south on Mission Parkway when the accident happened.
The driver was declared dead at the scene. The passenger is expected to survive.
Speed and alcohol may be contributing factors in this crash, police said.
The identities of the occupants of the vehicle are not being released at this time.
