CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) — The two-week trial for a Canon City man accused of murdering a funeral director in 2012 is scheduled to begin Monday in Otero County.
Anthony Wright was arrested in 2013 and charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
The Canon City Daily Record reports (http://tinyurl.com/oa575md ) 77-year-old Byron Griffy, a longtime school board member and funeral director in the Arkansas Valley, was found shot to death in his Fowler home on Oct. 12, 2012.
