Forecasters say a 60 percent chance of precipitation — a rain and snow mix — is expected in Denver on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in Boulder says rain and snow showers are likely before 9 a.m. A chance of snow showers is then possible between 9 a.m. and noon.
A rain and snow mix is expected to return into the evening, forecasters say.
“Some thunder is also possible,” the service said.
The high is expected to be 45 degrees on Wednesday.
