After an in front of 11 NFL scouts at Colorado State on Monday, former Rams quarterback Garrett Grayson heads to Orlando for the Jon Gruden QB camp, where his workouts will be .
Grayson, who set several CSU and Mountain West records during his four-year career with the Rams, will join Heisman winners Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota, as well as Baylor’s Bryce Petty and UCLA’s Brett Hundley at the Gruden camp.
“There’s a lot of parts of Colorado State’s system that I recognize, unlike a lot of college football that’s running up-tempo, no-huddle, spread-option football,” Gruden said Grayson in an ESPN release. “There’s some principles at Colorado State that will serve Grayson well. He can run it. He can audible. He can get you out of trouble with his legs. He’s a dark horse in this class.”
The first episode of Grayson’s workouts will air Sat., April 18 at 10 a.m. MT on ESPN2. His workouts will also be aired five times on ESPNU — April 20 (3 p.m.), April 21 (1 a.m. and 7 a.m.), April 25 (7 a.m.) and April 29 (7 a.m.) — and once on ESPN Classic, on April 29 at 12:30 p.m.
