The westbound lanes of Interstate 70 have been reopened at the Eisenhower Tunnel early Monday after closing because of a three-vehicle crash that left at least one person with minor injuries.

The Colorado Department of Transportation announced the closure at about 6:30 a.m.

The interstate was reopened at about 9 a.m.

7News reported that the crash involved a jackknifed semi-trailer.

The Colorado State Patrol says motorists were being rerouted around the crash onto U.S. 6.

The patrol posted a photo of the wreck showing a badly mangled semi-trailer.
