A man was convicted on Monday afternoon and faces a possible life sentence.

Isaiah Hunter, 24, was found guilty of one count of sexual assault with force and two counts of sexual assault, the city’s district attorney’s office said in a news release issued Tuesday.

“The jury was deadlocked on other counts of kidnapping and robbery,” the release said.

Hunter was found guilty in a February 2013 assault on a woman near 30th Avenue and Downing Street, an April 2013 assault on a woman near 26th Avenue and Tremont Place and a February 2011 assault on a woman near Colfax Avenue and Quebec Street.

Hunter is set to be sentenced on June 8 when he faces an indeterminate to life sentence, the release said.

Hunter was arrested in Denver April 17, 2013.

According to state records, Hunter was arrested in 2011 on suspicion of sex assault and in 2012 on suspicion of prostitution.
