If you’re on Twitter and speak Spanish, the Aurora Police Department has a new account just for you.

The APD announced Wednesday that it has created a Spanish language Twitter account. The new account is @APDenEspanol and it can be found at .

In a press release, the police department said it wants to better serve its Hispanic population in the city. About 28 percent of the 335,000 residents in Aurora are Hispanic.

“This new account will allow us to directly share information and provide a forum for people to ask us questions in Spanish,” the department said in a press release.
