A month after a 41-year-old man was , police there are asking for the public’s help in identifying anyone who may have been in the area about the time he was killed.

Lucas Mendoza’s family found him slain inside of their home at 7337 Bradburn Blvd. on March 17, police say.

Investigators believe the St. Patrick’s Day slaying happened between 2:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. when a suspect or suspects shot him.

Police say they are looking for anyone who may have been in the area of 73rd and Bradburn Boulevard the day of the killing.

Police declined to release further information in the homicide. Investigators were initially called to Mendoza’s home on reports of a suicide.

“We’re being really limited because it’s a homicide,” said police Investigator Cheri Spottke, a department spokeswoman.
