Colorado Springs police tased and arrested a 27-year-old woman early Friday after they say she threw landscaping rocks at an officer and his patrol vehicle.
Annastasia Seufale was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including attempted second-degree assault on a police officer, third-degree assault, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Officers were called out to the 2300 block of Lexington Village Drive at about 1:30 a.m. on reports of a fight between two females in front of a home.
Police say Seufale threw 1- and 2-inch rocks at the first officer to arrive on scene.
“When the officer exited his cruiser, the female continued to throw rocks, some of which struck the officer in the legs and shoulder,” police said in a news release. “The female did not comply with the officer’s commands to quit throwing rocks and instead bent over to pick up more rocks.”
Seufale was then tased and arrested, officials said.
Police say they learned Seufale was involved in an altercation with two of her friend and her husband before police arrived.
