All lanes of northbound Interstate 25 in Denver have been reopened on Friday morning after closing because of a three-vehicle crash involving a semi-trailer.

The crash was reported at about 5:45 a.m. near the University Boulevard exit, police said.

A television helicopter image from the scene showed the truck — pulling three trailers — jackknifed across the interstate. The overhead image also showed a sedan lodged under one of the trailers.

Police say no one was seriously injured in the crash.

The wreck strangled in traffic in the area, closing all northbound lanes of the highway for about an hour. The lanes were fully reopened just before 8 a.m.

Further information on the crash was not immediately released by police.
