The National Weather Service in Boulder is calling for a rainy week in Denver starting Monday with a chance of thunderstorms.

Forecasters are calling for a high of 61 degrees in the city on Monday with thunderstorms and rain showers likely.

Showers are likely on Tuesday and into Tuesday night, forecasters say.

A chance of rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by mild temperatures, are expected to last into the weekend, according to the weather service.
