DENVER (AP) — The Puddle of Mudd lead singer has missed a court date after at the Denver International Airport last month.
“Puddle of Mudd” lead singer Wes Scantlin was arrested by Denver police and charged with misdemeanor trespassing after taking his joy ride into an area that requires a security clearance for entrance.
DIA spokesman Heath Montgomery says this is only the second instance in 20 years in which airport officials remember someone riding the baggage carousel into a secured area.
Scantlin did not show up for his Tuesday arraignment and now faces a warrant for failure to appear in court.
Scantlin was taken into custody on Jan. 16 after he was seen running “behind the large-item baggage carousel” and then came “out of the secured area through an alarmed door” and walked outside, according to a Denver Police report.
