
1 Compensating. A man was knocked off his bar stool and punched multiple times while on the ground at Dubb’s Pub, 5301 S. Broadway in Littleton, at about 10 p.m. April 15. The victim said all he said to the suspect, a 31-year-old man who was apprehended by an officer already at the bar, that night was “Hi.” The suspect’s girlfriend, who witnesses say he pushed out of the way to attack the victim, said, “Everywhere we go, he picks someone out and knocks them out for no reason, including me.” He was charged with assault.
2 Adult behavior. On April 15, a man was driving southbound on South Federal Boulevard near West Berry Avenue in Littleton when an SUV cut him off, causing him to change lanes. The car tried to cut him off again. When he stopped at a nearby light, the SUV driver got out, opened the man’s door and punched him the face.
3 No need for a gun. A man robbed a bank in the 3500 block of South Broadway in Englewood at 10 a.m. May 6. The suspect never displayed a gun but simulated one. He fled on foot. The FBI is investigating.
4 Going nowhere. A 20-year-old man attempted to elude police when they tried to pull him over near the intersection of South Cherokee Street and West Eastman Avenue in Englewood on May 4. He crashed into another car. No one was injured. The suspect’s vehicle had been reported stolen.
5 Right of way? A man told police he was bumped while riding his bike by a car pulling out of an RTD lot at 5780 S. Prince St., Littleton. The driver was found to be at fault and was written a citation.
