Left fielder Corey Dickerson admits that the plantar fasciitis in his left foot is still painful.
“Yeah, it hurts every time I run,” he said. “But it’s not enough to keep me from playing. I think I can still make plays and hit.”
Dickerson, who entered Wednesday night’s game hitting .313 with five home runs and 16 RBIs, said he’s trying to manage the pain.
“It’s probably something I will deal with (all) season,” he said. “When I get some rest, I think it will calm down. But I’m going to keep playing as long as I am productive.”

Rockies’ Chad Bettis (2015 debut) at Dodgers’ Brett Anderson (2-1, 3.52 ERA), 8:10 p.m. Thursday, ROOT; 850 AM
Anderson, who wore a Rockies uniform for a short time last season before he was sidelined by injuries, owns the Dodgers’ only complete game this season, albeit a five-inning outing last Friday night in Denver during a driving rainstorm. Still, the left-hander got the win to improve to 2-1 and notch his first complete game since 2011, when he was pitching for the Oakland Athletics. The Rockies counter with hard-throwing right-hander Chad Bettis, who will make his 2015 debut. Bettis pitched for the Rockies in both 2013 and 2014. This spring at Triple-A Albuquerque, he was 2-2 with a 3.97 ERA in six starts. He struck out 26, walked 10 and gave up five home runs.
