Loveland Pass has been reopened on Wednesday afternoon after closing because of an avalanche.
The Colorado Department of Transportation announced the closure at about 12:15 p.m.CDOT said the popular high country highway — U.S. 6 — reopened at about 12:45 p.m.
Officials say the slide happened at milemarker 228.
