Authorities in Adams County have identified a 57-year-old woman .

Debra Kathleen Gabel died in the early morning blaze on the 1800 block of North Carson Street that fire investigators say was intentionally set, the county coroner’s office announced Wednesday.

“The manner and cause of death is pending investigation,” the office said in a news release.

Aurora they are awaiting a final coroner’s report before releasing further information on a the fatal Friday fire.

The fire department says it could be up to six weeks before the coroner releases its final report.

Officials called the fire “incendiary,” but have not elaborated on the cause.

Gabel was taken University Hospital in Aurora where she was pronounced dead, officials say.

Photos from the fire showed heavy damage to the affected home.
