1 Stimulated conflict. Police were dispatched on reports of a fight at 1 a.m. May 20 and found two men rolling on the ground, brawling in the 800 block of Englewood Parkway, Englewood. A 27-year-old woman was standing over them screaming. She was then physically and verbally aggressive with officers and was taken into custody. Cocaine was found in her possession.

2 We can see you. Officers on foot patrol in Centennial Park, located in the 4600 block of South Decatur Street, Englewood, on May 25 found a man drinking alcohol in the park. When officers were preparing to ticket him for an open container, he tried to hand off two small baggies of what was later determined to be cocaine to a friend. He was arrested.

3 I want to go fast! Police pulled over a vehicle in the 5100 block of South Broadway, Englewood, on May 21 and found the driver had meth and associated drug paraphernalia on her person. Her passenger, a 32-year-old man, also had meth on him. Both went to jail.

4 Sensing a pattern. On May 21, police pulled over a 45-year-old man in the 3000 block of South Santa Fe Drive, Englewood. He was found to be carrying meth and driving with a revoked license.

5 Almost a trend. Police attempted to pull over a car in the 4500 block of South Lincoln Street, Englewood, just after 10 p.m. May 24. The car sped away, and later a 30-year-old man and 35-year-old woman parked it and ran away on foot. They were caught after a short pursuit. The woman had an active felony warrant. Neither was carrying drugs.
