
Nine Colorado companies led by Arrow Electronics made the 2015 , ranked by revenue. The list was released Thursday.
Englewood-based Arrow moved up seven spots to No. 131 with revenue of about $22.7 billion in 2014. The electronic components distributor has been on the list for 21 years.
The only other Colorado company to move up the ranking was Level 3 Communications. The Broomfield-based company, with revenue of about $6.7 billion, moved up 12 spots to No. 401.
Walmart retained the top spot for the third straight year with revenue of $486 billion. Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Berkshire Hathaway and Apple filled out the top 5.
Other ranking Colorado companies were:
• Dish Network in Englewood at No. 208 with $14.6 billion revenue.
• DaVita HealthCare Partners in Denver at No. 231 with $13.1 billion revenue.
• Liberty Interactive in Englewood at No. 263 with $11.4 billion revenue.
• Ball Corp. of Broomfield at No. 332 with $8.6 billion revenue.
• Newmont Mining of Greenwood Village at No. 379 with $7.3 billion revenue — the Colorado company with the biggest drop of 52 spots.
• Western Union Co. of Englewood at No. 468 with $5.6 billion revenue.
• CH2M of Englewood at No. 480 with $5.4 billion revenue. The company was previously known as CH2M Hill.
