Motorists on northbound Interstate 25 will notice a major lane reconfiguration starting Sunday, between RidgeGate Parkway and County Line Road in Douglas County, as crews work on a road-widening project.
The interstate will split into two lanes to the left and two lanes to the right of a temporary work zone. The new traffic pattern will be in place for up to three weeks.
Motorists wanting to exit northbound I-25 at the Lincoln Avenue, C-470/E470 or East County Line Road exits must be in the two right lanes prior to the RidgeGate Parkway interchange. The left two lanes will not provide an exit until East Dry Creek Road.
Extensive signage will begin approximately 2 miles south of RidgeGate Parkway to provide motorists with guidance well in advance of the traffic split.
