An altercation in Colorado Springs early Sunday ended with one man fleeing in a vehicle as others fired shots at him.
The victim was not seriously injured in the incident at 1:59 a.m. in the 1000 block of Chelton Road, said Colorado Springs police Lt. Patricia Feese.
A disturbance involving three people led to the shooting.
“I don’t know how many people were firing,” Feese. All we know is one victim was fired at. Numerous shots were fired at the victim by his account and we also could see the vehicle was struck numerous times,” Feese said.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was treated for a laceration on his hand.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
