Arvada police found a Monday with its contents seemingly intact after it was reported stolen last week.

The Arvada Police Department tweeted that the red cargo trailer reported stolen on Saturday was found about 5 p.m. Monday. The team said the trailer was found at 92nd Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard.

The trailer was stolen from Trails RV and Storage, 1800 S. 120th St. Police were called Saturday morning after team equipment manager Tyler Mcham drove into the lot and the trailer was gone.

Lafayette police commander Brian Rosipajla said about $75,000 worth of equipment, including the trailer, was stolen. The nonprofit football team estimated it would take $120,000 to $150,000 to replace the stolen gear.

The team’s parents, coaches and players were concerned that the team would be out of commission for the upcoming season with nearly all of its gear gone.

Once reported stolen, the team contacted news outlets around the state to spread the news.

On Monday, the team posted a message on Facebook letting folks know the trailer was found, gear and all. “WOOHOO,” the team wrote.

A GoFundMe account was created by the community to raise money for equipment replacement. The fund had raised a little more than $4,700 so far.

On the crowd-founding site, the team thanked those who helped and said they are not taking more donations. The money raised will go toward helping their organization keep costs low for their team members.

The team is also offering refunds for anyone who would like their donated money back.
