Nine people were arrested by Parker police as part of a coordinated national crimes against children investigation, the department announced Wednesday.

Operation Broken Heart II, conducted in April and May, focused on suspects who allegedly possess, manufacture and distribute child porn, engage in online enticement of children for sex, engage in child prostitution and child sex tourism, according to the Parker Police Department.

Arrested in the two-month operation on suspicion of child sex crimes were:

• Peter M. Campanella III, 45, Parker

• Brett Ryan Mosher, 27, Parker

• Michael Edward Toney, 31, Denver

• Eagle Wehner, 38, Parker

• Jason Richard Clark, 33, Parker

• Kenneth Phillip Archuleta, 37, employed in Parker.

• Tyrone Cox, 24

• Nakoma Lee Wells, 34

• The ninth person, Cody Hansen Green, 28, was arrested but no charges were filed.

The local operation was coordinated between Parker police and investigators from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, Colorado State Patrol and the Douglas County Impact Team.

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention reports that task forces nationally arrested 1,140 child predator suspects from 41 states during a two-month, nationwide operation. Of the 1,140 arrests, 42 suspected child predators were arrested in Colorado.
