Interview with Scott Ulrich, owner/manager
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: I have always enjoyed cooking at home and actually made wings on a regular basis. When this opportunity popped up, I took notice and liked what they offered.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: One of the big things that separates us from our competition is our all-natural wings. Our wings are meaty and the sauces are incredible. We also have fresh-cut fries. People love our fries.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: Our customers are the best part of the job. It’s great to see a new customer come in and try our wings and tell us they loved them. Then seeing them back in a day or two for some more. It’s a great feeling knowing they like what you’re cooking.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: The biggest challenge is staffing. At first, it was difficult trying to figure out when we needed more people or less. We still find we are off sometimes, but we are figuring it out as we go.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: One thing that people may not know is that I go out each week to sell wings at local breweries. It’s nice catering to a whole new set of customers who enjoy eating our wings.
